After spending a week stuck in my bed due to illness, I finally recover and this right on time for Notting Hill Carnival an event I’ve been waiting for since the last edition of it, I’ve attended on my first week living in London. This year, I attend both days to get the most of the carnival. Sunday 25th is children day, which means the parade is composed of kids too and families prefer to attend that day. Monday 26th which is a Bank Holiday is for adults.

The carnival parade starts at 9am both days and finishes at 7pm, people who join anytime of the day can watch the parade, dance to Caribbean and African music,… etc. I think two days in Notting Hill Carnival were enough for me to know the area very well… From Portobello Road to Westbourne Park Station, from Powis Square to Notting Hill Gate. I know Notting Hill and I love Notting Hill. This carnival is a great taste of Carribean culture represented mainly in this major event launched by people from Trinidad and Tobago. “Continue Reading” for pictures!
