Proms

I know, I know, dear readers… I haven’t updated my blog that much recently. The reason is that I was busy with my family visiting London so I haven’t done anything really exciting and new, just the classics of London… Oxford Circus, Picadilly Circus, London Eye,…etc. Although, on 3rd September, I’ve had a walk in Camden Town one of my favourite areas in the city and later at night, I’ve been to BBC Proms at the Royal Albert Hall. More details about the Proms, continue reading.

My days started with a walk in Camden Town where I had a very nice street food lunch that I’ve eaten on those little scooters looking over the canal. I like eating there as it is fairly cheap, a box of mixed food well chosen by myself for £4. Camden Town is well known for its street markets and its High Street with a special architecture and facade decorations found anywhere else than Camden.

Later the same day, I’ve had been invited to see the BBC Proms at the Royal Albert Hall in Kensington. The Proms is an eight-weeks festival of orchestral classical music taking place every summer with The Royal Albert Hall as main venue.
