While my family was visiting London, I’ve taken them on a cruise over the Thames River. It was a deal from Travelzoo, tickets for £8.50 instead of £17 return from Westminster to Greenwich. We started our day with a brunch at Patisserie Valerie on Duke of York Square, then we went to embark into the boat at Westminster Pier passing by the iconic Big Ben and overlooking London Eye. The cruise takes us all along the Thames stopping in Waterloo and Tower Hill until Greenwich where we stopped to discover the market. The weather that day was very unstable. It has been sunny some parts of the day but quickly it turns out to be rainy just few minutes after. I realised, summer was officially over in England.
