A Photo Journey Through Reykjavik Under The Snow
Visiting Reykjavik in winter is a great idea as chances of seeing the city under the snow are quite high. I was lucky to have 2 full days of snow during my stay. It was not very convenient when I visited the Golden Circle and the Blue Lagoon but in Reykjavik, it’s more enjoyable. On this photo journey, I will take you around Reykjavik from the ground by the small streets hosting cute colourful houses to the top of Hallgrímskirkja, a 74 meters high church.

Iceland’s popularity grew up dramatically in the past few years but I only got the chance to visit recently. The land of fire and ice is absolutely stunning and definitely needs time exploring! Whilst many stay there for over a week, many others choose to stick with a city-break. As I am limited with time, I went for a city-break in Reykjavik. As a base, Reykjavik is ideal to make great discoveries around Iceland and see some highlights like the Golden Circle and the Blue Lagoon.

How do I Manage to Work, Study and Travel at The Same Time
One year ago, I started a full-time job in an adtech company in London. When I enquired about my holidays allowance, I was told it was only 23 days. My first thought was… How can I keep travelling at the same rate (as when I was a student) with such a small holidays allowance. In reality, it can be stretched a little bit more with UK National Holidays which were 8 days in 2017. So that’s 31 days off work on a period of 12 months. What I managed to do with that is pretty amazing. I’m not gonna lie, exhausting too but I managed to travel almost at a rate of 2 trips per month. And guess what, I started studying part-time from September 2017 adding extra workload on my schudule. Here’s how I spent my 31 days off and how I managed to keep up in 2017!

Discovering Ostrava: The Steel Heart of Czech Republic
Many travellers backpacking or interrailing around Europe simply visit the capitals and big cities. In Czech Republic, Prague is unmissable. However, a real Czech experience is not complete until one visits Ostrava in the north-eastern region of Moravia and Silesia. Ostrava is the third largest city in this landlocked Central European country. In essence, Ostrava is a young city that is reclaiming it’s industrial past, with many youth-driven projects and initiatives, that make the city more attractive and welcoming to visitors.

Discover Praga: Warsaw’s Artistic Hub
Let’s start with the negatives, Praga has a bad reputation in Warsaw. It’s known to be the poorest area in town until it has been rediscovered and had a new life as a hipster and artistic base in Warsaw. Nevertheless, it remains a bit of dodgy area but overall safe. Lublin: One Trail – From Grand Hotel to the Castle
As of this writing, I am still in Poland. I’m enjoying the cheap meals, the rich history and the amazing culture. I started my trip in Lublin, in East Poland. This city is definitely not on the main tourist trail for visitors but I think it should be! I stayed at one of the main and most famous hotel in town, the IBB Grand Hotel Lublinianka. From there, there is one main trail to take all the way to the castle passing by the main attractions in town.

7 Reasons Why You Should Visit Nairobi
After cancelling last minute my trip to Kazakhstan due to long visa processing times, I had no choice but to find another place to go so I don’t ruin my holidays. Kenya was luckily a great option as, firstly, my dad had a work trip I was able to tag on board of. Secondly, Kenya offers e-visa for visitors which was processed in a couple of hours.
